The creation story and plural marriage go together—if we believe God is merciful, plural marriage is not the norm—It is Eve and Adam, one woman and one man. This is the story that begins humanity and serves as the model for God’s law of marriage.

As a busy young mom without social media, she could feel bad about herself within herself. Only looking for some good opinions from her best friend, husband, and God. This generation is bombarded with so much external noise, which affects them.

Is this a celestial law? No. What is God’s law? It is a marriage between one man and one woman; polygamy is an occasional step outside of that law.

“When I feel frustrated, I try to remember the point of the house is to bring people together, not to harm relationships in search of house perfection.” 

In the 20th Century, the subject of the Second Coming largely disappeared. More stress was placed on living righteously and peaceably in the present, and less on future destructions and signs. 

As we learn and grow, we can see that what we think is our plan can often be accomplished in a different way and with different means than we initially thought.  Often, words have different meanings, and those meanings evolve as we learn and grow in life.
