As a busy young mom without social media, she could feel bad about herself within herself. Only looking for some good opinions from her best friend, husband, and God. This generation is bombarded with so much external noise, which affects them.

Is this a celestial law? No. What is God’s law? It is a marriage between one man and one woman; polygamy is an occasional step outside of that law.

“When I feel frustrated, I try to remember the point of the house is to bring people together, not to harm relationships in search of house perfection.” 

In the 20th Century, the subject of the Second Coming largely disappeared. More stress was placed on living righteously and peaceably in the present, and less on future destructions and signs. 

As we learn and grow, we can see that what we think is our plan can often be accomplished in a different way and with different means than we initially thought.  Often, words have different meanings, and those meanings evolve as we learn and grow in life. 

We are told His coming will be as a thief in a night or glorious light from the east - How we experience His arrival depends on how we are watching and preparing for Him.

There is more to the scriptures than we think. We can always learn a great deal by simply reading the story or scripture, but we can learn so much more by studying and considering what we know and what we think we know.

For some reason, we can’t get it into our heads that no one is going to tell us exactly how to practice our priesthood power and authority. We don’t need permission—just do it.
